Just Keep Swimming!

Hi everyone!

Our team has been extra agile and we have made a slight change in scope to our project. Fabien and Adriana attended a briefing session last week with one of our clients and we discovered some insights. Our clients who come to IBM want to learn more about four main themes: Watson, Internet of Things, and Bluemix. Our main goal is to show our clients how they can use our technology and implement it within their companies.

So what is team client butler going to do? We realized that there is no better way than people playing with technology to fully understand how it works and its capabilities. Our clients will be able to download our mobile app before their visit to IBM to see the agenda of their day. However, the briefing consultants will be using it as a demonstration during the first session of the day. During IBM’s introduction to our clients, they will not only mention IBM’s tech but will also showcase it and can engage our clients to use it along with them. By doing this our clients will learn how to use it and interact with it throughout the day. Not only that, but they will also be able to go back to their companies and show their colleagues what they learned at IBM!

The main screen is a chat with Watson, who will guide your clients through their day. It can also talk back to you through text to speech services (we will have a demo of this in the upcoming weeks!).

This tab displays the sessions planned for our client’s day. It moves depending on time so the current session will always be at the top. Our clients can also click on each session and see information about the speakers, as well as having the option of providing feedback.

On a fun note, some of us went to see Finding Dory last week and we feel in love with baby dory…

You should totally go see it, here’s one of the best quotes:

Also, something that we haven’t mentioned before, half of our team is from abroad! Fabien is from Slovakia and Adriana from Spain. So here you have a translation of “Have a nice day!”:

“Que tengas un buen día!” – Spanish

“Prajeme pekný deň!” – Slovak

Until next time!

Your team Client Butler
