Hello readers!

We are already mid-way through week 4 and time is flying by here at the Extreme Blue HQ!

What we have been up to:

We had our first Extreme Blue presentation last week and the competition is high! All the teams were amazing and the bar has definitely been set high! Team Walgreens Boots Alliance had an incredible presentation so Nathan (the master) offered to do a run through of Adobe Illustrator and gave us some tips on how to make “hot” presentations. Some of us have been spending quite some time on making our slides awesome for this week so we will not disappoint! Expect some cool stuff 🙂

Most of our work since last week has been developing the wireframes for our webapp! We have received very good feedback so our design is pretty much ready to go! Our team has finished creating the user interface consisting of low-fi and mid-fi wireframes. These are just sketches on paper from which we got feedback on and then moved onto creating outlines on the computer.  They aren’t supposed to be very detailed so try not to judge from the pictures 😉

We have also been meeting our mentors quite often and discussing more ideas. Our team has decided to split our project in two phases. The first one will be building up the webapp, which solves our client’s issue of providing first class service during the briefing conferences. Our second part of the project will involve more technology that will be displayed at the Hursley House and with which our clients will be able to interact with. We are still in the brainstorming phase of this and some more research has to be done but we will be working on both in parallel. Coding is set to start this week so hopefully, we will be able to give you updates on that next time!

On a side note, we have been Mikey-less for the past 2 days. Unfortunately, he had an accident biking from work and had to be taken to the hospital. Luckily, he doesn’t have any serious injuries and he is healing fast! Having him at this week’s presentation might not be the best idea (check out the pictures yourself!) but we will have him back in full mode in a few more days! We already miss him!

Poor Mikey in the Hospital 😦

Hope to get your visit to our blog next week!
