Team School Outreach: Green screen and other adventures

In a lot of projects, teams fear receiving feedback on 7 weeks of their work. We are glad to say it is not a case for Team School Outreach – and not just because we believe in our own ideas. This Monday we held a full day user test session in Hursley and it was genuinely fun! Why? We haven’t told you this before, but our product is meant for young teenagers, what means our testers are 14-15 year olds.

The Monday session consisted of four exercises. We had a number of testing tasks, where we gave our platform to users and asked for their suggestions. Next, we ran a vocabulary testing to figure out best names for our features. After lunch we had an interview session to research further platform developments. At the end of the day, we had the most fun – we booked the green screen room and recorded promotional video of our project.

Monday was the highlight of the week, but the session was not the only thing we did. Technical interns worked hard on web app for our second system user. They are also implementing the back end functionality and interactiveness between both apps.

It’s been exciting time and we look forward to next 4 weeks!
